National Development Alignment
CODEWA Works Within
Tanzania's Development Vision 2050
Dira 2050 is Tanzania's 25-year national roadmap. Every one of CODEWA's six programmes directly advances a specific Vision 2050 pillar, goal, and measurable national target — with verified outcomes from the ground up.
What is Vision 2050?
Tanzania's Development Vision 2050 sets national targets including 70% digital literacy, a 75-year life expectancy, and 50% formal sector employment by 2050.
Achieving those targets at the national level requires implementation at the community level. CODEWA is a last-mile implementation partner, closing the gap between what national policy promises and what vulnerable children and young people in Tabora actually experience.
Six Programmes. Three Pillars.
How CODEWA Maps to Vision 2050
Each of CODEWA's six programmes contributes to one or more of the three strategic pillars of Tanzania Development Vision 2050.

Human Capital Development and Social Wellbeing

The Gap CODEWA Closes
Three Children. Three Vision 2050 Gaps.
Every CODEWA programme exists because a real child faced a barrier that national policy could not yet reach.
Hassan · Health and Education
"Hassan was one of the strongest students in his class. Then malaria stopped him for three weeks. His family could not afford the clinic fee. A EUR 25 health card would have prevented all of it."
Health, Dignity and Wellbeing →Salma · Digital Skills and Empowerment
"Tanzania's law gave Salma the right to return to school after childbirth. Her community said no. GDASH gave her a second chapter. She left carrying a title she earned: Digital Sister."
Digital Skills and Empowerment →Juma · Climate Action
"Juma is fourteen. He planted a mango tree he may never eat from himself. He said: Someone planted the tree I eat from. Now it is my turn. He is one of 4,000+ young people restoring Tabora's land."
