Felista A. Itungi

Felista Itungi is a dedicated Environmental Officer and Sustainability Specialist with over three years of experience in environmental management, regulatory compliance, and community-based conservation. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies from Mwenge Catholic University, she brings technical expertise in GIS mapping, environmental impact assessment, and ISO 14001 systems. At CODEWA, Felista leads the Climate Action and Stewardship programme, having previously supervised ten tree nurseries and the distribution of 110,000 indigenous saplings directly benefiting 2,800 farmers across Tabora. She is committed to integrating ecological restoration with community empowerment, ensuring sustainability through education, field training, and grassroots environmental stewardship.
