On African Children’s Day 2024, Community Development Watch (CODEWA) proudly joined the Tabora community to celebrate the potential, rights, and well-being of young learners. This special occasion highlighted our ongoing commitment to mentorship, life skills development, and child advocacy, emphasizing that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

A Day of Festivities, Awareness, and Engagement
CODEWA actively participated in the children’s parade, raising awareness about the importance of protecting children’s rights. Our team also hosted an engaging booth, interacting with children, parents, and community members to share knowledge on quality parenting, mentorship, and the value of inspiration in shaping young minds.

Giving Back and Supporting Growth
Aligned with our mission to empower young learners, we distributed gifts including T-shirts, sanitary towels, and essential school supplies. These contributions help reduce barriers, encourage school attendance, and provide children with tools to access education and developmental opportunities.
