Shipment Arrives: Building CODEWA’s Digital Resource Hub in Tabora
October 2025 marks a major milestone for CODEWA and the young women we serve. Our vision of creating a Digital Resource Hub in Tabora is becoming a reality—thanks to the arrival of our shipment of computers from our partners in Paris, France. This moment represents more than equipment; it represents opportunity, hope, and the beginning of a transformative journey for out-of-school adolescent girls and young mothers.

About the Digital Hub Initiative
The Digital Resource Hub is part of CODEWA’s commitment to empowering underserved youth through the Education, Mentorship, and Economic Empowerment programs. This space will provide young women—especially those who left school due to early motherhood, poverty, or other barriers—with access to:
- Digital literacy training
- Entrepreneurship and job-readiness skills
- Basic online business and freelancing skills
- Psychosocial support and confidence-building mentorship sessions
By bridging the digital divide, we aim to equip these young women with the tools they need to build independent, stable, and dignified futures.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
The arrival of the first computers from Paris marks the beginning of the Hub’s setup phase. The equipment will form the backbone of the Digital Hub—an inspirational space where girls and young mothers will learn, explore, and unlock their potential through technology.
Over the coming weeks, our team will be preparing the Hub for:
- Training sessions
- Access to digital resources
- Innovation workshops
- Women-focused mentorship circles
This facility will become the heartbeat of the project and a safe space for young women to grow and thrive.
Why This Matters
Many young mothers and out-of-school girls in Tabora lack access to digital tools and skills that could help them pursue employment or entrepreneurship. This initiative gives them:
- A second chance at education
- A pathway to financial independence
- A supportive community that believes in their potential
With the right tools and training, these young women can break cycles of poverty and drive change in their families and communities.
How Donors Make This Possible
This milestone was made possible through the generosity of supporters who believe in empowering young women. Every donation—whether equipment, funds, or volunteer expertise—plays a vital role in building the Digital Hub and expanding its programs.
If you would like to support the setup of the Hub or contribute to training materials, internet access, or volunteer programs, your impact would be deeply felt.
