Community Development Watch (CODEWA) est fi\u00e8re d\u2019annoncer sa participation officielle en tant qu\u2019organisation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile accr\u00e9dit\u00e9e pour l\u2019observation des \u00e9lections g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de 2025 en R\u00e9publique-Unie de Tanzanie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En juillet 2025, CODEWA a re\u00e7u son accr\u00e9ditation officielle de la Commission \u00c9lectorale Nationale Ind\u00e9pendante (INEC) pour observer les \u00e9lections g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de 2025 concernant les postes de Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique-Unie de Tanzanie, D\u00e9put\u00e9s et Conseillers municipaux. Cette accr\u00e9ditation marque une \u00e9tape majeure dans l\u2019engagement continu de l\u2019organisation en faveur de la bonne gouvernance, de la participation d\u00e9mocratique et de la redevabilit\u00e9 citoyenne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 la suite de cette approbation officielle, CODEWA a d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 des observateurs form\u00e9s pour participer au processus d\u2019observation \u00e9lectorale au sein du Conseil Municipal de Tabora, notamment dans les quartiers de Gongoni et Kanyenye. Cette accr\u00e9ditation a permis \u00e0 CODEWA d\u2019observer le processus \u00e9lectoral de mani\u00e8re l\u00e9gale, ind\u00e9pendante et conforme aux lois et r\u00e8glements en vigueur en Tanzanie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les observateurs de CODEWA ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019une orientation officielle et d\u2019une formation dispens\u00e9es par la Commission \u00c9lectorale, afin de les pr\u00e9parer efficacement \u00e0 leur mission. L\u2019organisation a ainsi entam\u00e9 son travail d\u2019observation d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res phases du processus \u00e9lectoral, notamment la formation des agents \u00e9lectoraux, la distribution du mat\u00e9riel \u00e9lectoral et l\u2019installation des bureaux de vote. Les observateurs accr\u00e9dit\u00e9s ont \u00e9galement suivi le d\u00e9roulement du scrutin le jour du vote, le d\u00e9pouillement des suffrages ainsi que la proclamation officielle des r\u00e9sultats dans leurs zones d\u2019intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La participation de CODEWA aux \u00e9lections g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de 2025 en tant qu\u2019observateur refl\u00e8te la mont\u00e9e en puissance institutionnelle de l\u2019organisation, ainsi que sa reconnaissance au niveau national comme acteur cr\u00e9dible de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile dans le domaine de la gouvernance et de la d\u00e9mocratie. Elle t\u00e9moigne \u00e9galement de la confiance accord\u00e9e \u00e0 CODEWA par les autorit\u00e9s \u00e9lectorales nationales pour contribuer de mani\u00e8re constructive aux syst\u00e8mes et processus d\u00e9mocratiques du pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CODEWA est convaincue que la participation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile aux processus \u00e9lectoraux est essentielle pour renforcer la transparence, la redevabilit\u00e9 et la confiance des citoyens envers les institutions d\u00e9mocratiques. L\u2019observation \u00e9lectorale contribue \u00e0 la cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 du processus d\u00e9mocratique et au renforcement de la confiance du public dans les structures de gouvernance et le leadership national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La participation de CODEWA aux \u00e9lections g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de 2025 en tant qu\u2019observateur accr\u00e9dit\u00e9 constitue une nouvelle \u00e9tape importante dans sa contribution au d\u00e9veloppement d\u00e9mocratique de la Tanzanie. Cet engagement illustre la d\u00e9termination de l\u2019organisation \u00e0 promouvoir les valeurs d\u00e9mocratiques, la transparence et la gouvernance responsable par une participation civique l\u00e9gale et constructive. \u00c0 mesure que CODEWA poursuit son d\u00e9veloppement institutionnel, l\u2019exp\u00e9rience acquise \u00e0 travers des missions nationales de cette envergure renforcera davantage ses programmes en gouvernance, droits humains, \u00e9ducation civique et autonomisation communautaire.
