Empowering Women, Uplifting Families: CODEWA’s Entrepreneurship Training in Tabora

At Community Development Watch (CODEWA), we understand that supporting children’s well-being starts with empowering women. On April 23, 2021, our team launched a targeted intervention to uplift women in Tabora Municipality through entrepreneurship training, responding to requests from local government authorities and community leaders.

Why Women’s Empowerment Matters

• Production of alternative charcoal (#mkaa mbadala) and other eco-friendly products
• Strengthening women’s leadership and decision-making in households and communities
• Building confidence to run profitable and sustainable micro-businesses
